The Trailer

My Reaction

I was completely absorbed by this game. From the moment I set foot in Victorian London I was hooked and I kept coming back for more.

Overview

Assassin’s Creed Syndicate is an open-world action adventure developed by Ubisoft Quebec. Set in London in 1868 during the Industrial Revolution, it follows twin assassins Jacob and Evie Frye as they build a street gang and fight to free the city from Templar control. A rope launcher lets you zip across rooftops and you can commandeer carriages to race through the streets.

What I Liked

  • Victorian London is a rich, atmospheric city to explore.
  • Switching between Jacob and Evie gives you two different styles of play.
  • The rope launcher makes getting around fast and fun.
  • Building up your gang and taking back the city’s boroughs is rewarding.

Verdict

Assassin’s Creed Syndicate is an engrossing adventure that kept me invested from start to finish. It’s one of the most enjoyable entries in the series.
