The Trailer

My Reaction

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons is an outstanding game. It tells a heartfelt story without a single word of real dialogue and it stays with you long after the credits roll.

Overview

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons is a fairy tale adventure directed by Josef Fares and developed by Starbreeze Studios. Two brothers set out on a journey to find a cure for their sick father. You control both brothers at the same time, one with each analog stick, working them together to solve puzzles and get past obstacles.

What I Liked

  • Controlling both brothers at once is a clever idea that feels fresh.
  • The story is moving and told entirely through the characters’ actions and gibberish speech.
  • The world is beautiful and full of memorable moments.
  • The puzzles are built around the two brothers working together.

Verdict

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons is a short but unforgettable journey. Its unique controls and emotional story make it a game well worth playing.
